When calling, you will be asked to provide
- Your policy number (stated on your policy document)
- Your vehicle’s details
- Precise details of your location.
Significant Exclusions
The following are not covered by this policy
- Replacing tyres or windows.
- Missing or broken keys – the RAC can arrange the services of a locksmith, but you will have to pay for these.
- The cost of spares, petrol, oil and other materials.
- The cost of ferry crossings and toll charges.
- Contaminated fuel problems. The RAC will take you to a local garage, but you will have to pay for the work to be carried out.
- Labour at any garage to which the vehicle is taken.
- The recovery of your vehicle if stuck in water, a bog, a ditch, on a beach or if your vehicle is overturned.
